The Phanero may be the smallest of all MeisterSinger models, but with its striking case and unusual color combinations it is also one of the most expressive. The various dials in the Phanero range are designed with hour digit appliqués in the sans serif typography typical of MeisterSinger – sometimes strongly contrasting, sometimes similar in color to the background. The stainless steel case is 35 millimeters in diameter and only 7.5 millimeters high.
Its angular lugs seem to ideally match the digits. A domed sapphire glass covers the dial and the Swiss hand-wound movement that powers the Phanero is clearly visible through the fourfold screwed glass exhibition back. The movement is decorated with ornamental cuts prior to installation.
Since 2001, MeisterSinger in Münster, Westphalia has been producing a range of exceptional mechanical wristwatches: Just like the first mechanical clocks of the late Middle Ages, they have only one hand and therefore literally point to an exact moment in time. The company founder Manfred Brassler creates his classical timepieces with this unique characteristic in the technical and cultural tradition of early watchmaking.
